Red Wing produced its Provincial Cooking Ware line during the WWII era. This casserole is natural tan bisque on the outside with a rich reddish brown glazed lid and interior. the Provincial Cooking Ware line included a range of baking dishes: casseroles, stock pots, bean pots, open baking dishes, fry pans, etc. The exterior of these vintage pieces is often tarnished with accumulated grease and other stains. This pot has natural wear but is looking good in comparison to others I have seen!
